Taken from the official AIDA International course standards, last checked 23 Oct 2026. The numbers are minimums, not the whole assessment — technique, safety awareness and buddying are judged too.
Congratulations on deciding to take A3 and go looking for a better version of yourself. Every metre is unknown territory, but once you have been there, you stop being afraid of it. It is a little like learning to ride a bike, or learning to swim — once you have reached a depth, the fear goes. What is left is missing it.
Download and complete both documents early: AIDA Liability Release (PDF) and AIDA Medical Statement (PDF)。Any “yes” answer on the medical statement requires a doctor’s signature before joining.
